Art at the Altar 2009 was another sucessful event.

Application forms for this years's Art at the Altar will be available in the winter. However, if you'd like more information about the event, please don't heitate to get in touch using the address on the Contact page.

You will Adobe acrobat reader to open the application form. If you don't already have it, you can obtain it from the Adobe website free of charge.

Hens Teeth and its members regularly exhibit throughout the year in a variety of galleries and shows throughout the region. There are several Hens Teeth group exhibitions and also events which indivudual members take part in.

Presentation of Charity Funds raised by Art At the Altar 2009.

On Sunday 21st February at 4pm in St John’s Church, Penistone, Sergeant Major Steve Marks will be accepting the cheque on behalf of the Royal Marines Benevolent Fund for Monies raised at AATA 2009.

Spring Chickens! An exhibition and sale of work by artists and craftspeople from Penistone and District and the East Peak Area, 1st - 5th April 2010.

Spring Chickens

Hens Teeth will be holding an exhibition and sale of their latest work at Wentworth Castle Gardens over the bank holiday weekend.

Many of the group of artists and craftsmen who regularly display at Art at the Altar will be there.

Jewellery makers, potters, textile artist, stained glass artist, stone carvers, painters, and artist blacksmiths will all be showing their work.

It is an excellent opportunity to buy genuine hand made and handcrafted items by local makers at less than gallery prices.

Hens Teeth will donate 20% of all sales directly to Wentworth Castle Gardens Restoration Fund. In 2007 with proceeds form Art at the Altar Hens Teeth bought four panes of glass for the Victorian Glass House. The group hopes to be able to contribute further to their ongoing restoration projects.

There will be free admission into the Spring Chickens exhibition.

The exhibition will be open daily from 1st - 5th April, 10 am - 5pm.
